Dialogue delay

Gotta get to dialogue eventually ... but I can put it off for this entry by planning the first coupla scenes

Scene One

Begins with a mom monologue – perhaps in an unidentified or even landmarkless place - disease is in mid progression – hints at the fear and the anger – does not name the disease –

Scene Two

I visit mom – the venue is clearly her home but it is not clear which home – is it her apartment or is it the old folks home – mom is not clear where she is – the recently explored crisis nuggets are introduced

a) assisted suicide – if early on then mom might be making a pitch
b) the needs to happen before it’s too late thing – could be talk of a recording session – or playing the session from 20 years ago – while we look at photos
c) hmmm – what “getting ready for death” icon could be introduced here.

The twin sister – my Aunt Marion - is mentioned though probably not by name. Alice Munro is also mentioned ... I do a little rant about my passion for her.

Scene three

Alice is present – or introduced somehow as a character with an interest in a lost sister. Is she writing a piece of fiction. Is it really Alice – perhaps it peter writing the last lost sister – that would be too self reflective!
